I find that working side by side in the garden together strengthens the relationship you have to your garden/ land while providing an extra set of eyes and hands.
The knowledge of what’s growing and cohabitating with you in your garden and learning their names and habits can be empowering and lead to a healthier and happier garden and landowner. 

 

Understanding that consistent gardening practices such as simple seasonal feeding and watering routines can be what sets your garden apart from the rest. This is just one of the many benefits to hiring a garden coach/companion.

 

Not unlike a sports trainer, sometimes all it takes is someone next to you rooting you on to jump into the garden and give it some attention to ensure a healthy and thriving space!

 

Who am I?

My name is Angela Layton and I’ve spent most of my life in a garden and the last 20 years working with children and adults in gardens. Educating and supporting along the way! 

My background includes working as a full time garden teacher at Marin Primary and Middle School for a decade. During that time I taught K-8 as well as teachers, staff and parents basic gardening skills along with outdoor ed. 

Along the way I started a garden coaching/companion business that has gathered a wonderful group of loyal clients that I’ve had the joy of working side by side with.
